  • How do I book a session

    Booking is easy:

Contact me at JT@jtshots.org with your event/type of shoot, preferred dates, location, and any special requests.

I’ll check availability, provide you with a quote and session details.

Once you accept, we’ll reserve your date and discuss any deposit or contract needed.

  • What is your pricing structure?

Pricing depends on the type of shoot, duration, location, number of final images, and usage rights.
For example: a 1-hour portrait session at one location will cost less than a full-day event or concert with multiple setups.
When you inquire, I’ll send you a detailed quote based on your specific needs.

  • How will I receive my images?

Digital delivery via a private online gallery (download link) is standard. If you want prints, albums, or additional physical products (framed prints, etc.), I can arrange that and include those pricing options in your quote.

  • What rights do I have for use of the photos?

You will receive rights to use the images for personal or promotional purposes as agreed in our contract (social media, personal prints, websites). If you need commercial rights (e.g., advertising, stock usage, resale) that requires additional licensing—let’s discuss your needs up front so the contract and pricing cover that.

  • Do you require a deposit or contract?

Yes – in most cases I’ll ask for a signed agreement (detailing date, services, deliverables, payment terms) and a deposit to secure your booking. The deposit amount and terms will be included in the quote I send you.

  • How can I view your previous work?

You can browse my website portfolio under sections like Portrait, Graduation, Concert, Sports. I also post updated work and behind-the-scenes on my Instagram handle @jadir.turner (8K+ followers) for ideas and style reference. instagram.com+1

  • How far in advance should I book?

For best availability, it’s ideal to book 4-8 weeks ahead for portraits or smaller sessions, and 3-6 months (or more) ahead for large events or premium time slots (especially during prom season, big games, concerts). If you’re booking last minute, still reach out — I’ll check if I’m available.

  • What if something goes wrong (weather, equipment failure, you’re sick)?

I always carry backup gear (camera bodies, memory cards, batteries) to minimize equipment failure risk. For outdoor shoots, we’ll plan a backup date/location in case of severe weather. If I’m unable to shoot due to illness or emergency, I will notify you immediately and we’ll reschedule or refund according to our contract.

  • How can I prepare my group (family, team, event attendees) for the shoot?

If you’re bringing a group (family portrait, sports team, etc.), it helps to:

Communicate time, location, and dress expectations in advance.

Arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can start on time.

Let me know special group shots you want (everyone wearing team gear? special arrangement?).

For sports/event teams: bring uniforms/props ready, ensure team members know when we’ll shoot.

  • Do you edit/retouch images?

Yes — all final images will receive professional editing: color correction, exposure adjustment, cropping as needed. If you want advanced retouching (e.g., heavy skin smoothing, composite edits, removal/addition of elements) let me know ahead of time so we can quote accordingly.

  • When will I receive my final images?

Depending on the session type and how many images, typical turnaround is 1-3 weeks. Big events may take longer if hundreds of images need sorting and editing. I’ll give you an estimated delivery date in your quote, and I’m committed to staying in communication.
