All content on www.jtshots.org and all materials created by JT Shots Photography (“we,” “us,” “our”) are protected under U.S. Copyright Law (Title 17, U.S. Code) and international copyright treaties.

All photographs (including RAW, edited, and delivered images)
Videos, behind-the-scenes content, and media produced during sessions
Website content, graphics, layout, and design
Logos, branding elements, taglines, and marketing materials
Digital products and downloadable content
1. Ownership of Intellectual Property
All images and creative content are considered intellectual property of JT Shots , created and owned exclusively by the photographer.
Clients receive usage rights, not ownership of the copyright.
Purchasing a session does not transfer copyright.
All copyrights remain with JT Shots Photography unless a copyright transfer agreement is signed and paid for separately.
2. Client Usage Rights
Upon full payment, clients receive a limited license to use their final images for:
Personal use
Social media posting (with optional tag/credit: @JTShots Or jadir.turner)
Printing, framing, and personal display
Clients may not:
Resell, edit, or alter images (including filters or cropping out the watermark)
Sell images to third parties (brands, publications, sponsors, etc.)
Use images for commercial or promotional purposes unless licensed
If a brand or business wants to use your photos commercially, a Commercial Use / Licensing Agreement is required.
3. Website & Online Content Protection
All content on our website is protected by:
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)
U.S. and international intellectual property laws
Unauthorized use of our photography, website content, or media including saving, screenshotting, copying, downloading, or reposting without permission—is strictly prohibited.
We actively monitor unauthorized usage and issue DMCA takedown notices to websites and social media platforms if infringement occurs.
4. Model and Property Releases
If a session includes people or private locations, model or property releases may be required.
These releases allow JT Shots Photography to use images for portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Universal Application (All States + International)
Although copyright laws may vary between states and countries, JT Shots Photography applies these protections universally to all clients, viewers, and website visitors regardless of location.
